Situated on the A595 at Red Dial, mid-way between Carlisle and Cockermouth, the hotel is centrally located to serve the needs of North, Central, East and West Cumbria, with excellent access from all of the major towns in the area. Our extensive car park can accommodate over 200 cars.

The Greenhill is now established as one of the most popular hotels in the area. With three restaurants and large banqueting suite and a cellar bar. Our specially prepared menus are designed to cater for all tastes and budgets and we can, of course, discuss any special requirements that you may have. All of the dining rooms may be booked for private functions.

The hotel has twelve individually and tastefully furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone, modem lines and hospitality trays.

For smaller and more intimate groups, the library with the capacity of up to ten diners is ideal for private dinner parties or working breakfasts, lunches or dinners.

Our large conservatory is available to seat up to twenty in light, airy surroundings and is in great demand for smaller meetings, even in the winter when it is heated to a pleasant temperature.
